THEN GOD SAID……..3
October 3 THEN GOD SAID……..3
Genesis 1: 11-12
As we hear what God has said and done at the beginning of creation, we begin to see that our daily living has been structured by God himself, providing all that we need for a good lifestyle to meet his purpose.
The sequence of events as we see at the beginning demonstrates the thought process of our God. He had taken into consideration all that we needed, we wouldn’t have known about our need for light or for water. Our Creator who knows our needs before we consider them provided all that we need at the beginning of time. He knows all that we need even now, we must live a life totally dependent on Him.
1) “Let there be light”, we definitely need light so that the darkness that surrounds us must disappear. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Light of the world and we need his Light to shine through our lives, for the benefit of others.
2) “Let the land produce vegetation, seed-bearing plants and trees that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds” And it was so. Gen1:11
Amazing, this has opened our eyes to see what God said before He created human beings in His own image and before we started to till the ground for our sustenance. “Seed-bearing plants and trees that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds”!!!! This is a command that we should eat our fruits with seed in it, and to be able to reproduce the fruits and the vegetables for continuity. God made plans to feed the humans he was yet to create with organic fruits and vegetables, what do we have today, genetically modified crops, man made crops that cannot regenerate. God’s command is that we must be fruitful and multiply, this is only possible when we live in total obedience to him.
All believers in the world know that the Bible is the only valid manual for living a perfect life in harmony with The Creator and the owner of the universe. God’s precepts are the specific guiding principles given by Him to direct our behavior and moral conduct. When we live in obedience to his precepts we display our trust and dependence on God. We are able to fill the earth and care for creation, we are “to go and make disciples”, sharing our faith with others and growing God’s kingdom.
Let Us Pray: We are grateful to you Lord for the provision you made for us to be alive. All that you spoke into being was for our welfare and good living. We are thankful and grateful.
