WHO IS GOD TO YOU

 

MAY 2.    Deuteronomy 6:4

Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons. 

As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all
that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil. As you stand, there is nothing on you that was originally made by you. 

All of these products were created by God before He created man and gave man dominion over all that He created. - 1 Corinthians 8:6. 

Psalm 14 vs 1 AMP says, “The (spiritually) ignorant says in his heart that There is no God!!” 

What do we say to that? Question who is God to you? He is the creator of the heaven and the earth, psalm 24 vs 1 says that the earth and the fullness thereof are his. Every and anything that is seen in creation belong to our God, he owns everything and He made us caretaker of all the things that he created. What a privilege to be considered for such a responsibility! What can you add to yourself that has not been created by God? The flowers we give as gifts to our loved ones are all created, designed in different amazing colours by our God!! 

The mountains and the valleys, the chirping colourful birds, the peacocks and the ostriches. 

How awesome is our God, do we see Him as an old headmaster waiting to punish a naughty boy? No, He is love personified and He is your God. 

Let Us Pray- We are grateful Lord, that you made us in your own image and gave us dominion over all that you created. May we always remember that you are our God from ages past and our hope for years to come, without you we are nothing.

HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy. This is the hope that all faithful believers enjoy, they have peace with God and they feel very secured.
