October 10.  THE HOUR OF PRAYER…2
             
There are many songs and hymns that we sing about prayers in many different languages. Most times we do not need to understand the language to appreciate the power expressed in the words of the prayer. When we think about the words of the prayers, our thoughts are removed from worries and fears and we are transformed and emboldened. We engage our spirit mind with the supernatural and we come alive to the power of our prayers and we succumb to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
       Prayer is the key, prayer is the master key that gains us entry into the doors that The Lord has opened for us. This happens because we are aligned with the spirit of God and we are stirred up in our spirit with the indwelling Holy Spirit  giving us the words to express our desires in our prayers. This brings an awakening and the clarity of purpose to our prayers. 
  Matthew 6:6 tells us to close our doors so we can pray in a quiet room, away from all distractions and from the outside world. We are not to pray in the open like  hypocrites who want to be seen by others to be religious. Prayer is a personal communication with God not a public show, however, we can pray with our friends and relatives in one accord as the disciples did on the day of Pentecost. Standing together in faith and in prayer increases our spiritual strength. 
      As we pray, let our prayers be beneficial to others as we also intercede for our familles, our nation and our friends. Our prayers have no boundaries, they work in a mysterious way to accomplish its purpose through the groaning of the Holy Spirit.
 
Let Us Pray: Heavenly Father, we your children have come before you thanking you for the efficacy of prayers. Our prayers to you are answered in the best way possible to meet our needs and to draw us closer to you. May our prayers be a sweet smelling offering to you we pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

WHO IS GOD TO YOU

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy.
