Yesterday we received letters from our Father in Heaven, surely out of excitement we started reading the letters immediately. The letters we have in our hands are written in two different segments, the Old and the New. We can start reading from any part we want, the message is about one person, the Author and Finisher of our faith, our Lord Jesus Christ who is our Creator and our sustainer. 

I opened my own letter randomly and I found myself reading Psalm 18:29  and I realized that truly, this letter was written to me specifically. I want to share what this verse is telling me.
Psalm 18:29– “For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.” What exactly does this passage mean to me? I realize that the times I come out victorious from overwhelming physical and spiritual challenges, it is because God has stood by me and empowered the efforts that gave me victory. Scaling over a wall means that the Lord has shown me the way of escape when I have been defenseless. He has saved me from barriers that I couldn’t have overcome by my own strength.

Today, my fellow believers, let us begin to read our bibles, we need to study and m|morise the bible passages for our time of need. When our Lord Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil he resisted the spiritual warfare using the scriptures, the word of God - “It is written…”
Our Lord did not exercise his power but quoted the word of God to make the devil flee. How much of The Word do you know? Do you know enough to resist the devil when he comes to tempt you?

Today, as we read our Bible let us put our minds to the Word of the Lord and remember that the devil is on rampage looking for who to devour. Let us be equipped so we can live a Christ like life. 

Let Us Pray: We are grateful Lord for your protection and provision for your children that we can face our enemies and we can scale walls.

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy.
