September 2.  Love Without Limit

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the son of her womb? Even if she could forget, I will not forget you! Isaiah 49:15 BSB

The love of God for His children is deep unconditional love that has no limit. Each time I come to Isaiah 49:15, my heart melts because I know the love of a woman for her child even when the child has gone to be with the Lord. No mother forgets any of her children. The women that give their children up for adoption or abandon them somewhere is with the hope that someone who could take care of them would find them. This reminds me of the third stanza of the hymn Hark My Soul It Is The Lord. It reads: 

Can a woman's tender care
cease towards the child she bare?
Yes, she may forgetful be,
yet will I remember thee. 

You may not feel it because of situations around you but God loves you unconditionally and it is out of love that He permits you to go through some uncomplimentary situations. 
Your life may be messed up that people judge you and would rather not be close to you. God still draws close to you and asks you to respond to His love. I remember a man in my area. He was sent to the best school by his mother but he turned out bad. He is one of the people we tag area boys who do drugs and all sorts. His mother will still come to him, bring food for him on the roadside where he sleeps and plead with him to come home. 

God so loves you that He gave His only begotten Son to die for you so you may have eternal life through faith in Him. With Jesus, He does not withhold any good thing from you but freely gives you everything. 
Respond to His love today by asking Jesus into your heart to save you and allowing Him to lead you in the way of life. 

Let Us Pray: Dear Father, thank you for making me the object of Your love. Help me to yield to you in love as well in the name of Jesus.

HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy.
