ISRAEL OF GOD

September 3.  The Israel Of God

For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation. Peace and mercy to all who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God.  
Galatians 6:15-16 BSB

Before we start looking deep into God's deep love for you and I, we need to identify who the Israel of God is. This is because many of the scriptures we shall refer come from the Old Testament which now extends beyond the natural Israel. 
What identified Israel in the Old Covenant was circumcision of the fore skin of every male child. Even then, God called them to circumcise the foreskin of their hearts and not be stiff-necked. Deuteronomy 10:16

The new Israel of God is those with inward heart circumcision:
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 2:28-29 KJV 
All born again children of God constitute the Israel of God. They are the spiritual Israel who enjoy all the promises and statements of love from God. God extended his love to the whole world by giving His only begotten Son Jesus to die for our sin and whoever believes in Him has eternal life with God. John 3:16
Have you accepted Jesus' death and resurrection as the atonement for your sin? If you have not, today is the day of your salvation as you are hearing that Jesus died for you. Accept the sacrifice today and become a child of God, the Israel of God.

Let us pray: Dear Father, I pray that every soul hearing about the good news of salvation through Christ today will believe and ask Jesus into their hearts in the name of Jesus.

WHO IS GOD TO YOU

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you.
