PRAISE MY SOUL THE KING OF HEAVEN

August 25             PRAISE THE KING OF HEAVEN

Praise, my soul, the King of heaven; to His feet your tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, evermore his praises sing.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise The everlasting King.

Praising God is something that rekindles your spirit and brings joy unspeakable to your heart. You feel like dancing and shouting out to the whole world to share in the joy that has overwhelmed you. You want everyone to share in this wonderful euphoria with you, yet you cannot put your finger on anything but you are elated. Every time you are filled with the spirit of the Lord you to begin to praise the Lord or you begin to sing his praise. You sure know why you are praising the Lord, our Lord loves you exceedingly abundantly beyond your understanding,

Why? He made you in his own image, emptied out himself into you and has walked with you all your life. You are delighted as you  praise your,
a—Creator,
b—The lifter up of your head,    c—He who gave you breathe in your nostrils.
d—The I Am That I Am.
e—He who has your name inscribed in the palm of his hands.

The writer of this hymn has set out a scene where we lay at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ, prostrate before him in praise and worship. What a beautiful place to be, at the feet of our Father bowed in honor of him. We are ransomed, healed, restored and forgiven of all our sins because our Lord paid the price to release us as captives from the bondage of spiritual darkness. We are restored from our brokenness, our sorrow is wiped away, replaced by God’s peace and comfort. We are brought out of darkness into God’s marvelous light, set free from sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are filled with everlasting joy and praise to Him who has saved us and He alone deserves our praise and worship.

Let Us Pray: Unto You oh Lord who has brought us out of darkness into His marvelous light, we praise and adore you. We ascribe all glory, honor and majesty to You and praise you our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏🏾
