 August 28          IN YOUR SILENCE
        
The Lord is in his holy temple, let all the earth be silent before him. Habakkuk 2:20

Today we sit in the silence of God’s presence. In the silence of this morning we see the crack of dawn, the light of the day, slowly breaking through, a gift that we behold with our eyes because we can see. Can we imagine what it would look like if each and everyone of us had to light up our candles!! How much match sticks would we need to light up our day? How much candles would we need to light up each day? What would happen if you run out of candles and match boxes? Can we begin to imagine the awesome darkness that would overcome the world, as we know it today!! 

We have woken up to a beautiful day gifted us with no charge; free of charge!! What an awesome wise God who has made everything beautiful and perfect for us, we thank You Lord. 

As you sit in the silence of your thoughts, the cocks begin their morning ritual, the birds begin to sing, chirping their melodious songs to the awakening of the day. Job 38:19 says “What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside? We definitely have no answers, we just need to understand the power of God and originality of God’s awesomeness. We arise from our deep slumber to the beautiful elements that are kept in reserve for specific times, working in our favor.—-Job 38:23
 The sun begins its journey, rising in crack of dawn announcing a new day. Arise oh faithful believers, children of The Most High, praise the Lord who has beautifully dressed up our day for us. Let us ascribe praises to The Lord who runs our world with no partiality. The Psalmist says in Psalm 46:10–Be still and know that “I AM GOD”. 

In the silence of your heart, remember to listen to the gentle whisper of our Lord’s voice, we must be intentional to dispel distractions and confusions. He speaks words of wisdom, guidance, comfort, joy, He gives us revelation power, equipping us for our purposes on a daily basis. 

Today let us remove ourselves from the noise of the world and let the silence of God’s presence overcome us. The euphoria of God’s silence wraps us up, cocooned in his awesome presence and we are ready to let go and let God. 
May the power of His silence be an answer to the inner peace that is elusive in the noisy world around us.

Let Us Pray: Heavenly Father, in the silence of your presence is joy unspeakable. The silence of your words speak volumes to our hearts and we acknowledge that You are a Powerful Omnipotent God our Creator. Have your way oh Lord as you continue to reveal your power in your silence.

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil.   MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy.
