CEASELESS PRAISE

       August 26     CEASELESS PRAISE

🎼Praise him for his grace and favour to his people in distress.
Praise him, still the same as ever, slow to chide and swift to bless.
Alleluia, Alleluia!!
Glorious in his faithfulness!

As you continue to praise The Lord with this song of praise you acknowledge God’s grace and favor to us when we are distressed. The reality of God’s grace is revealed in the smile from a stranger, a helping hand at the time of your need. I remember many years ago, a friend of mine shared a story of how she was going to visit a friend who was not feeling too well and she took a bible as a gift to her. She had forgotten that her friend was a moslem who unknown to her was having a tough time in her marriage. The gift of the bible was a turning point for her friend and she returned back to her Christian faith. The Lord did not chide her for being a moslem for He knew the way to relieve her of her distress and to swiftly bless her with the word. Our Lord is faithful as the psalmist proclaims.

“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.” Psalm 30:11-12.
Our clothing of sadness and sorrow are removed and we are wrapped up with the awesome presence of The Lord.

The earth and the elements will respond when we begin to praise our Lord God Almighty. A heart full of joyful praise acts like a sharp weapon in our hands, as we glorify our Father in heaven, our burdens are lifted up and our heart becomes free of complaining and worrying. We are now refocused with our eyes firmly planted on our Lord who is swift to bless. As long as we have breath we must praise our Lord so that fears and burdens are shifted away from our focus.

Let Us Pray: Come let us praise The Lord, for He is our Jehovah Jireh, our Peace and our Righteousness. There is no end to praising you and we are privileged to be able to glorify You our Lord. Amen.
