July 6.   THE SURE FOUNDATION


For no one is able to lay any other foundation besides that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. 

I Corinthians 3:11 AFV


We all know about foundations in buildings. Laying foundations for a building is the most sensitive part in constructing a house. If the foundation is not right, no matter how beautiful the house is to behold, it will soon crumble. 

Christ is the only sure foundation for life. This is because Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sun of mankind and His blood becomes the Amen to every of God’s promise. Because of His blood, we have the foundation for healing for by his stripes we were healed. Because of his blood, we have peace as the chastisement for our peace was on him. We can have joy even in sorrow because He bore our sorrows and our infirmities. 

I saw a social media post some time back that said ‘they took the bible from us and replaced it with science and human philosophies’. Philosophies and man made efforts gets to a limit and they do not hold again. The word of God takes man beyond that point.

On what foundation is your life and expectations built? Think about that.

I pray that God will make you know Christ in the way that will make you free in the name of Jesus.

He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy.
