SOUND OF SILENCE

 
July 2        The Sound Of Silence
        
And there was silence in heaven. Rev 8: 1

     Silence!! Silence!! and there was a deep Silence!!!There was great silence for 30 minutes!! Thirty minutes that seemed like eternity, overwhelming!!!
       The power of silence is overbearing, deafening, disarming and damming as the case may be. You are stopped in your tracks, your heart misses a beat and you freeze in fear, fear of the unknown. This does not come with the eerie feeling, it makes you pay very serious attention to what is happening around you. The silence that is deep, you cannot cut it with a very sharp knife. You are spell bound as you listen out for the silence to stop, alas, the power behind the silence is still holding on in deep silence. The sound of the silence is like a brewing storm about to burst into the horizon. Your are in the presence of The Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Redeemer, FEAR NOT is the voice that calms the raging storm and you are listening out for it. 
    Be at peace for I have overcome the world, the battle is mine, says The Lord Jesus Christ. Do you trust him in the silence? The air is at a standstill and the elements are in total obedience to the voice of silence, Our Lord Jesus Christ is in Charge. 
     Be STILL and know that I am God—Psalm 46:10 opens with fear and chaos and God says that we should be still because He is in control of all things. A spark of hope to calm the spirit and it comes with a prayer 🙏🏾. 
     This deep silence is followed by an Angel with a golden censer with much incense, offering prayers for all saints upon the golden altar before him. The smoke of the incense ascended up before God from the hand of the Angel. There is always a descending peace, a calmness of the heart in total silence. The Lord Jesus Christ needs your attention and He speaks to you in the language you understand. In the stillness of the Silence is the power of hope and clarity. Be silent before the Lord today and imbibe his words and his presence.
    Behold, the sound of the silence is broken and the clouds of peace descend on us all as we acknowledge the presence of Our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. The angels carry on with their assignments and we receive the peace of The Lord. Amen 

Let Us Pray: Our Lord God of mercy and compassion we worship and adore your Majesty. We acknowledge you in the deep silence as we hear your voice breaking the silence with your words of comfort and love. Hallowed be thine name.

WHO IS GOD TO YOU

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy. This is the hope that all faithful believers enjoy, they have peace with God and they feel very secured.
