INCLINE THINE EAR
July 4 Incline Thine Ears
Proverbs 2:2; Psalm 116:2
Inclining the ears means listening intensely , this leads to acquiring wisdom and understanding. You listen with a deliberate intention and willingness to learn as you listen respectfully to a wise man, someone you trust. The inclination of the ears infers that you deliberately make an effort to learn, possibly bending low to hear what is being said. This also indicates that you are inclining your ears to a superior voice.
In Gen 1, God spoke to the emptiness, the earth was void, without form and God spoke and the earth obeyed His voice.
Our spoken words obey the laws of incubation and manifestation. We sow seeds with our words and the manifestation is the response we receive.
All over the world people gather to listen to some man speak, many travel from far away at a great expense just because they want to hear this man speak.
When our Creator spoke into the void there was no gathering, there was no fanfare. The earth inclined its ears unto the power and authority of The Almighty God and the earth came into being—Gen 1:1-26.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and the earth inclined its ears in obedience. vs 3
The true power of the spoken word is beyond our comprehension, it is a spiritual mystery, a hidden secret which is revealed to equip us believers for spiritual empowerment and influence.
This is the moment of truth for us to rise up and walk in the knowledge and authority God has provided and commanded through His Word.
Today we come to the understanding that everything around us begins with and revolves around TWO things, the words we speak and the words that we hear. We begin to speak the truth that we know and there is a spiritual connection to our Creator in our spoken words and an enlightenment in our spirit.
May our ears be inclined to the words of Wisdom from our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ.
Let Us Pray: 🙏🏾 Let us speak words of edification as The Lord listens to the words that we speak. Let us in the stillness of our hearts incline our ears, our hearts and our minds to the voice of wisdom from The Lord. In Jesus name
