June 14.  1 Chronicles ch 10-11; John 18:22-40


The Word Is Medicine


He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Psalms 107:20 NIV


When the children of Israel became rebellious and disobeyed God, they became sick and were near to the grave. They cried to God and He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from the grave. The Word of God is health to the bones of man. If you find His word and read and believe, the word heals you. 

Health is one of the major concerns of people now. Social media is full of posts on health now that science is failing and where it is helpful, the cost is beyond the reach of most people. People have however ignored the word of God which is free and effective. I see posts in hospital wards that read WE CARE GOD HEALS and I wonder how people ignore the healer for the carer. The Healer is there for whoever cares to go to Him at any time. Jesus is the Word that was with God in the beginning and was God and through Him all things were made. Accept Him today and hold on to Him. 


Let Us pray: Lord Jesus, I recognize You as the Word of God that made me and the One who can heal me. I cry to You today to heal all my diseases in Your precious name I pray.

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy.
