ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
MAY 14.
Nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
All things are possible to him who believes.
As we affirm these words from the scripture we come to the realization of God’s power and sovereignty. We must believe that He is who He says that He is and in believing we are awakened to the authority and the power of the Creator of the Universe.
Sometimes we may be struggling to open a bottle of water, seemingly an easy chore, someone else opens it for us with such ease and we wonder why we could not open it. Those are the times God shows up when simple things become very difficult. When we ponder on the words of the scripture we can find the answers to challenges, big and small, simple and hard. The word of God comes alive and we begin to apply His words to our situations and his promises come alive to us. 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' simply means that He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world- 1 John 4:4. As we read our bible we begin to understand that with God in us we can run against a troop, and we can scale the wall. The reality of our faith is our trust and belief in God, the unshakable faith that Queen Esther had that saved the Israelites from total alienation. In the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord of the universe.
All the things that seem impossible are possible in our Lord Jesus Christ when we understand that we are the expression of the attributes of God himself. The store house for the snow, the water in the coconut, the hair on our head that needs no fertilizer!! These are things that are hard to understand but that is the reality of our God who has supernatural powers. Awesome God who makes ALL IMPOSSIBILITIES A POSSIBILITY. Trust and obey there is no other way for the impossible to become possible.
Let Us Pray: You are God from the beginning and you created us from dust. We thank you for the life you have given us and your goodness that we abide in.
Bible verses: Psalm 91:11-12, Phil 4:13, Ephesians 3:20.
