LOOK UP NOT DOWN


July 7.  LOOK UP NOT DOWN


But when these things begin to take place, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28 AFV


I was talking with a friend some days ago and she said, ‘Sis Boss when I look at my bank accounts, I feel very sad and low’. I said to her that I learnt not to look down but up. If I look at my bank account, I feel very low but I choose to look up to God who has all the silver and the gold of the whole universe. 

He feeds every creature, so He will surely provide for me. We must learn to look up. It is tough but when you do it and see how He provides, you will get used to looking up and talking to your Father in heaven. 

How do you look up? It is with your mind, your thoughts. Fix your mind on God and who he is instead of on yourself and all your challenges and your weaknesses. 

Jesus asked us to look up when end time trials are toughest, we should keep our gaze up. When it is darkest, don't give up on your faith but know that your redemption is near. It is darkest before dawn. So at tough times when there seems to be no way out, look to your Father in heaven and hold on for His redemption in His way. 

Let Us Pray: 

Dear heavenly Father, I pray that as things are tough worldwide, let us remember that you are for your children and our redemption is certain and close in the name of Jesus.
