July 10.   BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY AND THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB…


They conquered him completely through the blood of the Lamb and the powerful word of his testimony. They triumphed because they did not love and cling to their own lives, even when faced with death. Revelation 12:11 TPT


Our heavenly Father has made the way to overcome the evils of this world plain to us. When Satan was sent out of heaven with a third of the angels in heaven, they started making trouble for the inhabitants of the earth. 

Our weapons to overcome any of his trouble include the blood of Jesus, the word of our testimony and not loving our lives even unto death. 

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, He defeated the devil and His blood shed on the cross is the evidence that in Christ, mankind overcame the devil. We also have the word of God that we believe and hold on to without wavering. Even in the face of death, we do not give up. 

Not being afraid of death is where we still fail now. Jesus has conquered death by resurrecting on the third day. We now know that there is life after death so there is no reason to surrender to the devil again out of the fear of death.

If you can take these three fold weapons of the Blood of Jesus, The Word and Not fearing death, you will always overcome the evil one. 

Let Us Pray:

Dear Father, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to shed His blood for my salvation, for giving me your word on which I can stand and the power to know that even in death my life is secure and I can overcome the evil one. Help me to carry these weapons at all times and stand my ground against the evil one in the name of Jesus.

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know.
