THE WORD IS WATER

 


June 12. 

…to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, Ephesians 5:26 NIV 

One of the uses of water in the physical is washing. It is the same in the spirit. Water of the word can also be used to wash and even pollute both in the spiritual as well as physical. 

Have you heard the word brainwash before? What is used to wash the brain? The water of the word. If you want to brainwash anyone, you speak the word you want to get into his brain to him instead of what he had held as truth until he believes and holds the new fact you are presenting to him. 

This is the process by which faith or fear is generated. People can brainwash you or you can brainwash yourself. You need to speak the word to people to hear and speak it until they really hear it enough to make them make a decision concerning it. I heard the word of Christ several times until I began to speak it to myself then I believed and gave my life to Christ. I then grew in Him by reading the Bible asking the Holy Spirit to explain it to me. That was how I was able to relate the Bible to my life. 

What do you hear regularly in your mind? Write it down in your journal. It will soon turn to your belief and you will start living by it. 

Let Us Pray: Dear Lord, help me to replace all lies that have enslaved me with the word of God in Jesus name.

WHO IS GOD TO YOU

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy.
