AND THE LORD SAID

 


May 26.

And God said, let there be light……Genesis 1 vs 3

The spoken word of our Almighty God in Genesis created the universe and everything therein. The earth was void and without form and darkness was upon the face of the deep and God spoke and the darkness disappeared. God’s words are active, creative, and carry the force that brings his authority into His divine plan for our daily living. The irresistible force of God’s words confirms that God’s words must achieve its purpose and never return void, Isaiah 55:11. There is nothing on earth that was not created by the spoken words of our God.

The Lord continues to speak to us in His still small voice, through testimonies, through our dreams and through open revelations. God spoke to a donkey; He spoke to a raven he assigned to deliver food and water to Elijah when he was running away from jezebel and taking refuge in a cave.

What is God saying to you today? God will speak when you are ready to listen, are you willing to hear his voice? There are many voices, our voice, the enemy’s voice and the voice of the Holy Spirit. We must know the voice of the Holy Spirit and follow his commands that we may live a victorious life purposed by our Victorious God.

Let us pray: Thank you Lord for the grace to hear you speak into our situations.

WHO IS GOD TO YOU

  MAY 2.     Deuteronomy 6:4 Our God is an Amazing, Awesome God, The Creator of Heaven and the Earth, There is no one like Him, none to compare with Him, yes He is a perfect God. He is greater than all that he created, unlimited in nature, infinite and he is the God in three persons.   As you are dressed up to go out of your home, you are attired in all that God created including you yourself. Your clothes are made from cotton, silk, your shoes are made from animal skin, your perfume comes from natural oils, your jewellery comes from metals that are found in layers of soil. HOPE IN THE WORLD

  MAY 3.      Romans:5: 4-5   Hope is not wishful thinking; hope is like making a long wish-list and waiting in great anticipation for each of the things you wished for to come through. You will find yourself marking off all the ones that God has answered.   On who are you hinging your hope on? My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; this is the line of a very popular hymn that we all know. Is it true for you, can you let go and know that He who you hope on will not disappoint you. The faith that our hope has in God is the hope that does not disappoint, it transforms our suffering into endurance and our expectations into joy. This is the hope that all faithful believers enjoy, they have peace with God and they feel very secured.
